12 th State Level Elocution Competition

Satara College of Pharmacy, satara, is organizing State Level Elocution Competition from last 11 years successfully and successively and this was the 12th year of this competition. This 12th State Level Elocution Competition was successfully held at Satara College of Pharmacy, Satara, on Saturday, 9th February 2019. Topic for elocution competition was “Digitalization in Pharmacy”. Students from different parts of Maharashtra participated in this competition.

Inaugural ceremony was graced by Hon. Dr. A.V.Yadav, Principal, Gourishankar Institute of Pharmaceutical Education & Research and Hon. Dr. S. D. Sawant, Principal, Smt. Kashibai Navale College of Pharmacy, Kondhwa, Pune while the programme was presided over by Hon. Mr. J.V.Salunkhe, Director, Gourishankar Education Society, Satara. The Programme was started at 11.00 am by worshiping the goddess of knowledge, Saraswati and lighting the lamp at the auspicious hands of honorable Guests. Introductory speech was given by Dr. N. H. Aloorkar, Principal, Satara College of Pharmacy, Satara. The competition was started by declaring the rules, regulations and time limit. Throughout the competition the audience enjoyed the thoughts of participants.

Prize distribution ceremony was graced by Hon. Dr. A.V.Yadav and Hon. Dr. S.D.Sawant, judges of the elocution competition. Hon. Dr. A.V. Yadav in his speech congratulated and praised all the participants and organizers and expressed his views on the topic of elocution competition. Hon. Dr. S. D. Sawant in his speech congratulated organization for arranging such competition and also appreciated the topic for elocution competition.

The winner’s trophy was bagged by Miss. Fatima Mujawar, Allana College of Pharmacy, Pune. First Runner up Prize was awarded to Miss. Sukanya Patil and Second Runner up Prize was given to Miss. Shweta Pharande, Satara College of Pharmacy, Satara.

On this occasion, Mrs. M. N. Veer Co-ordinator of the elocution competition expressed gratitude towards Satara College of Pharmacy, Satara for giving platform to organize the competition. Miss. B.S.Surve, Co-ordinator of the elocution competition put forth her sincere thanks to Hon. Judges, Principal, Vice – Principal, committee members, teaching, non-teaching staff members and volunteer students for making the programme successful.

The programme came to an end with Pasaydan and a group photograph of winners, all the participants, committee members and volunteer students.
